Connecting an AI assistant

You can connect an AI assistant to your account and build, change and publish your website right in the conversation. The connection runs through a connector: you log in once, allow access, and after that the assistant sees your websites and the tools that go with them. Anything with consequences — a preview address, a publish — it puts to you instead of doing it.

What the assistant can do

Read and write files, check the website against a checklist, create a preview, publish, look at versions and bring back an earlier state. And it can search the help you are reading right now — so it answers questions about the portal from our texts rather than from memory.

What it can’t do

Take credentials. FTP passwords and the like are never collected in the chat, only in the portal — a password that goes through a conversation ends up in the history and in the provider’s logs.

Disconnecting again

Under «AI assistants» in your account you’ll find every connection you have allowed. «Disconnect» withdraws access immediately.
